Welcome We are a UK based enterprise specialising in books, journals and training courses in narrative therapy. We also have a library of commercially produced clinical DVD's and videotapes available for rental. Narrative therapy is a collaborative approach to human problems that separates the problem from the person, opening space for a problem-free life. It keenly appreciates the effects of culture and relations of power. Narrative practice is theoretically robust, socially just and is having widespread effects on the field of therapy and community work. We accept on-line purchases of books and journal subscriptions through the secure international Paypal system and your credit or debit card. This allows a quick turnaround of orders and protects your interests through it's reliable encrypted processes. We also accept cheques and credit or debit cards if you prefer not to use Paypal - see"Non-paypal orders" Tree of Life DVD now available - go to audio/visual page! We have Michael White's new "Maps of Narrative Practice" published May 2007
The following new (2006) publications are now available: The second and updated edition of Martin Payne's popular "Narrative Therapy" Many publications are from Dulwich Centre Publications, in Adelaide, Australia. They are interested in the politics and power relations of this work, and in ways of writing that are ethical, respectful and accessible. They publish a range of books as well as an international journal which we distribute throughout Europe. We also distribute books from other publishers by authors including Johnella Bird, Jerome Bruner, John Winslade, Martin Payne, Gerald Monk, Kaethe Weingarton, Freedman and Combs, David Epston, Ken & Mary Gergen, Russell Meares, Pamela Dunne and Vivien Burr. We run customer specific and 6 day (divided into 2 X 3-day blocks) intensive training courses in narrative practice. These are focused on skill-development in small groups. Courses advertised here are open to all. Other courses are designed to fit particular agency or group requirements. Intensive courses are run at venues in Devon, London, Birmingham, Helsinki and Southern Ireland, at Level 1 and Level 2. Subsidised Introductory days are run in many locations around UK and Ireland. See the Training page for further details. We also host workshops with internationally known presenters (we have Michael White in London in May/June 2007) whose work is featured in these writings.
